Opinion: I am a Misogynist. I am a Bigot. I am a Racist.
Apparently, caring about men’s issues makes you a misogynist, a bigot, and even a racist. It doesn’t matter if you’ve spent years supporting women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, or racial equality. The moment you mention men’s struggles—whether it’s male suicide rates or domestic violence against men—the backlash starts. Suddenly, you’re labeled as the enemy, despite simply advocating for fairness. The real problem here isn’t about prioritising one group over another—it’s the obsession with labels that shuts down any meaningful conversation. If raising awareness for men’s mental health or gender equality gets you branded as a villain, maybe it’s time we question why these labels are so quickly thrown around and start listening to the issues that affect everyone.
