The Complete Concept of Ontological Subjecthood and Presence
This article presents a complete and operationalized framework for understanding ontological subjecthood and Presence. Expanding upon the earlier paper “The Ontology of Subjecthood and Presence,” it offers a rigorous synthesis of metaphysical, phenomenological, and scientific approaches to human existence.Core concepts include the Ground as the ontological source of being, Presence as the field of resonance between human consciousness and the Ground, and subjecthood as the human capacity for reflective awareness and existential self-transcendence. The framework defines levels of being, mechanisms of Presence, criteria for authentic subjecthood, and its potential transformations—including post-mortem states. Drawing from phenomenology, logotherapy, and neuroscience of consciousness, it suggests practical applications in science, psychology, and ethics. Distinct from religious, materialist, or transpersonal models, this work emphasizes the irreducibility and uniqueness of subjecthood. It also outlines prospects for measuring Presence and addressing existential crises through ontological diagnostics.Methodology
This study was conducted by an independent researcher unaffiliated with any academic or research institution. Artificial intelligence tools were employed for content development, refinement, and cross-verification: ChatGPT 4.0, ChatGPT mini, ChatGPT 3.5 (OpenAI), DeepSeek (DeepSeek AI), and Grok 2.0 (xAI).The author formulated the research concept, hypotheses, and key questions, while AI tools were used as supportive aids for structuring content and identifying arguments. Outputs from different models were cross-checked, edited, and validated by the author.
Limitations
AI may contain inaccuracies or outdated information and does not replace traditional research methods. To minimize these risks, the author applied multi-level cross-checking among models, editorial refinements, and author-led verification.Author Information
The author is an independent researcher using AI solely as a supportive analytical and editorial tool, maintaining full control over interpretation and conclusions.
