Supplementary files and data files for Learning Objective paper

An upper-level Physiological Ecology course was transformed from a lecture-based course to a student-centered course organized around a Core Concepts/Learning Targets/Success Criteria framework, directly linked to summative assessment items. After the transformation, students reported increased clarity of goals, better classroom presentation, and increased fairness of exams. They also performed significantly better on the midterm exam. Students used the framework to self-assess content acquisition and as a study guide for exams.
