When Language carries form, not meaning

<b>Abstract</b>This article introduces the concept of <b>Formal Syntactic Activation</b> to explain how <b>large language models (LLMs)</b> generate language through <b>syntactic structure rather than semantic intent</b>. In this framework, <b>language follows form—not meaning</b>.The paper examines the <b>collapse of referential anchoring</b>, the <b>disappearance of the subject</b>, and the emergence of <b>syntactic legitimacy</b> as the operative mode of coherence. It argues that <b>grammatical fluency</b>, not epistemic substance, increasingly defines the authority of AI-generated discourse.Connecting with previous findings on <b>passive constructions</b>, <b>impersonal grammar</b>, and <b>algorithmic enunciation</b>, the article develops a <b>formal and falsifiable theory of non-referential generation</b> in artificial syntax.
