INTELLIGENT WEAPON DETECTION SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME SURVEILLANCE USING DEEP LEARNING

This project introduces an automated real-time weapon detection system leveraging the YOLO (You Only LookOnce) deep learning model to enhance security surveillance. The system is designed to process various visualinputs, including still images, video files, live webcam feeds, and RTSP-based CCTV streams. Upon thesuccessful identification of a weapon, the system automatically triggers an email alert, providing immediatenotification to designated personnel. Each alert includes comprehensive details such as the timestamp, sourcetype, identified weapon labels, and an attachment of the detected image or recorded video segment for verification. This robust and efficient solution aims to significantly reduce response times to potential threats by providingrapid, AI-powered threat detection and communication capabilities.
