PERANCANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PERMAINAN GERAK LOKOMOTOR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Locomotor movement is an ability that must be learned by elementary school students to form more complex movement experiences. This study aims to develop a game-based locomotor movement learning model as a teaching material for lower grade students in elementary school. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE approach, which includes five stages starting from analysis to validation by experts. This learning model is based on the theory of locomotor movement from the book FUN Start MOVE Smart! Parents’ Companion for Growing Active Learners Abecedarian MOVEment Skill. After the model was designed in book form, validation was carried out by three experts through expert judgment. This book presents a game design that is designed to be easy to understand and apply by students, and can be used by teachers and parents to support the learning of basic motor skills in a fun way and in accordance with the child’s developmental stage. The results of the study obtained that as many as 20 locomotor movement learning models were declared suitable for use with elementary school students as one of the learning models to improve children’s motor skills.
