Five-Dimensional Entanglement Geometry (Pos1[x,y,z,t,u]): Unifying Gravitation and Quantum Mechanics
We propose that quantum entanglement and measurement are manifestations of higher-dimensional locality. Spacetime is a five-dimensional Lorentzian manifold M5with coordinates XA ≡ Pos1[x, y, z, t, u], where u is a continuous entanglement dimension. From first principles, we relate the Tomita–Takesaki modular flow of local algebras to normal displacements along u, arguing for a minimal, single extra coordinate because modular dynamics is a one-parameter group. We prove that 5D microcausality implies 4D no-signalling for instrument-smeared observables, and show that environment-induced u-sharpening yields a Lindblad generator whose branch weights obey the Born rule under standard envariance/typicality assumptions. We extend the entanglement–geometry map beyond Gaussian states via Rényi-2/relative-entropy bounds, treat multipartite structure with Steiner networks in u, and address quantum-information constraints (no-cloning, monogamy, Tsirelson) from 5D linearity and locality. A near-term, distinctive “smoking gun” prediction emerges: a universal, mass– and path-size–dependent center-of-mass dephasing channel in levitated optomechanics with benchmark central rates Γ ≈ 10−4–10−3s−1 with 1σ fractional uncertainty ±50% (dominated by χ and ηu) at m ≈ 109–1011 amu and Δx ≈ 50–200 nm. We present experimental protocols to discriminate this effect from known backgrounds, quantify systematics, and sketch a realistic 12–36 month milestones plan. Technical elements (radion stabilization, cosmological history of u, anomaly inflow, 5D→4D reduction, and black-hole thermodynamics) appear in Supplementary Information.
