Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Orthodontics—A 'Two-Way' Dependency for the Successful Treatment: A Review

ABSTRACT When a patient needs more than one type of treatment at the same time, it's highly vital for prosthodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics to work together. Prosthodontics employs crowns and implants to fix problems with function and appearance, but it only works if the pulp and teeth are healthy and in the appropriate place. Endodontics does things like root canal therapy to maintain the pulp alive and the environment around the root healthy. This makes sure that restorations and orthodontic movement have a solid base. Orthodontics restores crooked teeth and places them in the ideal position, which makes it easier to put in prosthesis and lowers the chance of pulp problems. People from diverse professions need to work together to solve problems like root resorption, periapical disease, and abutment stability because they depend on each other in both directions. The best strategy to acquire the best results is to do endodontic stabilization, orthodontic alignment, and prosthodontic restoration in that order. Good communication, precise diagnoses, and high-quality therapy are all critical for making the most of this interdependence for successful dental rehabilitation. Abstract
