Smart Pet Feeder with Monitoring System (PETzHUB)
This project presents PETzHUB, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart pet feeder and monitoring system tailored for small, caged animals such as hamstersin terms of spoiled food monitoring and automatic feeding by animal touching sensors. The problem of existing pets has not been monitored the spoiled or expired food, and also does not automatically provide or release the food from the container. The primary aim is to offer an innovative solution to ensure proper feeding schedules and real-time monitoring for pet owners, especially during their absence. PETzHUB integrates an automated feeding mechanism with a remote monitoring system, managed via the Blynk mobile application. The hardware includes a microcontroller, servo motors for precise food dispensing, a gas sensor to detect food conditions, and a camera module for live video streaming. The Blynk app serves as an interactive user interface, enabling users to set feeding schedules, adjust portion sizes, and monitor their pets through live feeds. Notifications for feeding activities enhance user engagement and reliability. This system represents a user-friendly and scalable solution for modern pet care.
