IMPACT OF GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT ON SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE NATIONAL ACCOUNTS SYSTEM IN UZBEKISTAN
This article examines the impact of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on sustainable economic growth in Uzbekistan within the national accounts system. Despite robust GDP growth averaging 8% annually since 2004, reliance on resource-intensive industries has led to environmental degradation. The study explores the limitations of traditional GDP metrics, advocating for Green GDP and renewable energy adoption to balance economic progress with environmental sustainability, aligning with Uzbekistan‘s green economy strategy for long-term resilience.
