Breaking the Dimensional Barrier: A Modular Cycling Framework for High-Dimensional Computation
This paper introduces a revolutionary approach to high-dimensional computation through dimensional cycling - a framework that decomposes n-dimensional problems into manageable 3D modules plus minimal remainders. Rather than confronting the exponential complexity of n-dimensional spaces directly, we leverage the mathematical insight that dimensions naturally cycle at base-3, allowing any n-dimensional computation to be expressed as n = 3q + r where r ∈ {0,1,2}.Building on the Recursive Operator Machine (ROM) framework, we present ROM-MD (ModularDimensions), which maintains exact computational equivalence while achieving polynomial rather than exponential scaling. The approach transforms intractable high-dimensional problems into coordinated networks of 3D computations, with rigorous mathematical guarantees for correctness and complexity bounds. Our key insight emerges from discovering that the same 3-based modular patterns governing prime distribution, Riemann zero structure, and operator algebras also determine optimal dimensional decomposition strategies. This universality suggests dimensional cycling reflects fundamental mathematical structure rather than computational convenience.
