KICS-Rehab & Beyond — A Phased-Ethical-Release Blueprint for Equitable Neuro-Regenerative and Longevity Therapies
Background: 27 million people live with chronic spinal-cord injury and 2.8 million with progressive multiple sclerosis; existing treatments slow decline but seldom reverse disability. KICS-Rehab merges five modular platforms—SEDDS myelin-reset capsule, dissolvable micro-needle patch, magnetothermal senolytic liposome, 48-h OSK mini-mRNA pulse and a MOTS-c-derived mito-peptide—to deliver up to 20 years of median health-span extension while closing the disability-care gap. Methods: Pre-clinical data in SAMP8 mice show 28 % lifespan gain and 36 % functional improvement. Therapeutic protocols are accompanied by a Humanitarian Dual-Tier Licence (zero-royalty in LMICs; 1 % cap elsewhere) and a Guardian-12 oversight board that operates an open dashboard of safety, cost and equity metrics. Results: A Phased Ethical Release (PER) matrix escrows advanced longevity modules behind a Shamir 9-share secret; release requires treatment of ≥2 million patients at ≤USD 0.50 day⁻¹ in ≥40 countries plus an OECD-verified RRI score ≥ 80 %.Conclusions: By coupling cryptographic safeguards, equitable licensing and real-time transparency to state-of-the-art neuro-regenerative biology, KICS-Rehab offers a replicable template for preventing technological capture while maximising public-health benefit.
