A hermeneutic review of how spatial weights are conceptualised in GIScience

This abstract introduces preliminary results from a systematic literature review combined with qualitative hermeneutic analysis to reveal how implicit assumptions about the meaning of “space” shape the use of spatial weights, aiming to foster more reflective and critical spatial modelling practices.
