Smart Diet Monitoring Android Application

In today's fast-paced world, the rapid advancement of technology, shifting lifestyles, and hectic routines have led many individuals to overlook their health. This issue is becoming increasingly prominent across all age groups, particularly among the youth. Their unpredictable schedules make it difficult to consistently monitor the nutritional content of their meals or manually maintain health logs. It's well-established that dietary habits formed during youth play a crucial role in shaping long-term wellness. Given the widespread use of smartphones, there is a clear demand for a dedicated mobile app that supports health management specifically for young people in India. This paper introduces a fully operational Android application aimed at tackling the typical obstacles young users face in tracking their meals and overall health. The app not only allows users to monitor their food intake but also delivers customized recommendations on dietary inclusions and exclusions. Furthermore, it provides additional features such as daily exercise guidelines, intriguing food-related facts, common dietary myths, and practical health advice. Built using Android Studio 2.1.3, the application strives to offer an efficient and intuitive platform for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
