Extended Quantum Field Theory (EQFT) and Emergent Gravity: The Coherent Description of the Universe from Cosmological Phenomena to Atomic Structure in the Contraction-Shrinking Theory (KST)
This paper presents a new, consistent, and comprehensive theory of cosmology and gravitation: the Extended Quantum Field Theory (EQFT), based on the principles of the Contraction-Shrinking Theory (KST). It addresses central unsolved problems in modern physics, particularly the cosmological constant problem and the nature of dark energy and dark matter. Recent research findings now extend the scope of this theory, demonstrating its remarkable robustness and precision also on the microscopic scale. This is achieved through a fundamental reinterpretation of the vacuum energy in quantum field theory (QFT) and its distribution in the universe. Gravity is understood as an emergent phenomenon arising from the interaction of matter with a dynamic spatial density field. The central hypothesis of EQFT, that matter acts as a “sink” for vacuum energy, is mathematically substantiated by deriving the KST constant k_KST using the proton radius as a natural cutoff. The precise agreement of the derived kKST with its empirical value, combined with successful galaxy calculations that render dark matter obsolete, is presented as strong evidence for the physical relevance of the model. This enables a description of planetary and galactic phenomena without the need for dark energy or dark matter.
