School-Based Feeding Program and Learning Outcome of the Learners in Binugao District, Davao City

The study used a non-experimental quantitative methodology and a descriptive correlation technique to examine the relationship between school nutrition programs and learning outcomes. Out of the 134 eligible kids registered in Davao City's Bigugao District, the researcher considered all 100 research participants. Physical Facilities, Health Knowledge Management and Supervision of Funds Food-preparation and Distribution, Working Committee and Community Links, and a comprehensive school feeding program in Davao City were the results of the study. The learning outcomes, however, were broad and included student engagement, academic performance, and attendance. These feeding initiatives have benefits that go beyond their direct effects on education. Additionally, they support wider societal advantages, including lower dropout rates and more prospects for future employment for involved students. Additionally, these initiatives can aid in reducing children's temporary hunger, which poses a serious obstacle to education. Furthermore, as evidenced by the size of each p-value, which is smaller than 0.05, the school food program's dimensions significantly impact the students' learning outcomes. Health Physical Facilities and Health Knowledge and Working Committee and Community Links are the two determinants. Conversely, the two domain indicators—Food Preparation and Distribution and Management and Supervision of Funds—are negligible.
