Single-Visit Versus Multi-Visit Root Canal Treatment: Efficient Treatment or Only a Time-Saving Technique?

A comparative analysis was conducted on a sample of 60 patients who underwent either single-visit or multiple-visit root canal treatment. Treatment success rate and post-treatment complications were assessed. Subgroup analysis based on patient characteristics, patient concerns, treatment cost and duration, retreated teeth, and patient satisfaction was performed to explore differential outcomes among approaches.
