A PAUSA DE DEUS: O SILÊNCIO COMO ESTRUTURA LITERÁRIA NA ESCRITURA
This study analyzes the role of silence as a literary and theological structure in Scripture, highlighting its importance in biblical narrative and divine revelation. Silence is not a void or a mere pause in communication, but a resource that precedes great events, intensifies the experience of divine mystery, and deepens the relationship between God and humanity. The research addresses four main aspects: silence as a structural element in biblical narrative, the silence of God in revelation, pause as literary tension, and silence as a theological and spiritual language. Furthermore, it investigates how silence in Scripture inspires contemporary Christian spirituality, fostering attentive listening, contemplation, and deepening of faith. In the modern world, marked by excessive information and fast communication, the rediscovery of silence presents itself as both a challenge and a necessity for a more authentic spiritual experience.
