Enhanced Nanoparticle-Polymer Composite Remediation of Industrial Wastewater Through Adaptive Process Optimization
**Abstract:** This research introduces a novel, adaptive remediation technology utilizing a dynamically optimized nanoparticle-polymer composite to selectively remove heavy metals from industrial wastewater. Leveraging principles of reinforced learning and automated parameter adjustment, our system surpasses existing methods in efficiency and selectivity, demonstrating a 35% improvement in heavy metal removal rates within a commercially viable timeframe. We detail the development and optimization of a composite material composed of functionalized iron oxide nanoparticles embedded within a chitosan polymer matrix, followed by the implementation of a real-time adaptive control system that adjusts operational parameters based on wastewater composition. This system holds significant promise for decreasing the environmental impact of industrial operations while simultaneously recovering valuable metals, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and circular economy.
