DACTYLOSCOPY IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF HUMAN DISEASES. STUDY OF PALMAR PA-PILLARY PATTERNS

Abstract The article discusses the main methods of studying human heredity, namely dermatoglyphics and palmoscopy. Dactyloscopy is one of the methods of dermatoglyphics, a science that studies the hereditary determination of patterns formed by skin lines on the fingertips (dacyloscopy) and the features of palm structure (palmoscopy). Modern clinical medicine cannot do without genetic methods of studying human heredity. One such method is dermatoglyphis and palmoscopy. It has been established that patterns are an individual characteristic of a person and do not change throughout life. Dermatoglyphic studies are of great importance in determining the zygosity of twins, diagnosing many hereditary diseases, and in certain cases of disputed paternity.
