CitizenssApp: A TCR-Based Platform for Digital Empowerment Through Modular Metadata and Prompt-Driven Design
CitizenssApp: A TCR-Based Platform for Digital Empowerment Through Modular Metadata and Prompt-Driven Design This white paper introduces CitizenssApp, a software platform built entirely on the TCR (Table–Column–Row) paradigm — a universally understandable structure derived from both analog records and digital spreadsheets. Unlike conventional applications that rely on hardcoded forms and rigid backends, CitizenssApp treats TCR not merely as a data model, but as a basic digital right. The platform enables users — individuals, communities, or small organizations — to define their own Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using simple table interactions. Every element, from data capture to interface logic and sharing permissions, is stored as metadata and displayed as editable tables. With full support for metadata-driven SQL operations (DDL, DML, DQL, DCL, TCL) running silently in the background, users get the power of relational thinking without the complexity of relational databases. A core design principle of CitizenssApp is storage independence: users may store their data and metadata in flat files, JSON, Excel, databases, or cloud — all without vendor lock-in. Data is always entered and viewed in table format, and users can import/export in any common structure. Interoperability is achieved via prompt-based schema alignment and open template registries, allowing users to share TCR definitions, logic, and visualizations like plugins. By combining AI-assisted prompt generation, spreadsheet-like flexibility, and secure, user-owned storage, CitizenssApp empowers every user to build and evolve applications — not as passive consumers, but as active creators. This is not an enterprise system; it is a tool for Minimum Digital Rights (MDR) — built to democratize software creation and data sovereignty.
