RESEARCH ON INTERDISCIPLINARY SMART TEACHING MODELS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS IN AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENVIRON-MENT

Abstract In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), AI technology has become a key driver of educational innovation and development, particularly in the field of interdisciplinary learning. AI-driven digital tools empower teachers and students to access high-quality resources conveniently, create authentic learning environments, and provide traceable evaluation feedback. This paper focuses on the enabling role of AI technology in interdisciplinary teaching in junior high school mathematics. It explores three aspects: the interpretation of the essence of interdisciplinary teaching, the educational value of AI (including promoting mathematical core literacy, cultivating digital literacy and innovation, and enhancing the recognition of subject interconnectivity), and innovative teaching strategies based on real-life scenario simulation and problem-solving. The aim is to provide useful insights for the practice of interdisciplinary teaching in junior high school mathematics.
