DEVELOPMENT OF FISCAL POLICY IN UZBEKISTAN
This study examines the development of fiscal policy in Uzbekistan from 2010 to 2024, focusing on its impact on economic growth and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Using a synthetic dataset based on IMF and World Bank trends, the analysis employs a multiple linear regression model to assess the influence of Nominal GDP, Tax Revenue, Fiscal Deficit, and Public Debt on FDI as a percentage of GDP. The findings reveal that Nominal GDP significantly drives FDI, with a one-billion-dollar increase in GDP raising FDI by zero point zero one three five percent of GDP, while Tax Revenue, Fiscal Deficit, and Public Debt show no significant effect.
