Programming Spacetime_ A Table-Top Memory Lens via Gravitational_Memory Ridges
This work introduces a tabletop “memory lens” experiment that programs one-dimensional Gaussian-shaped ridges directly into the gravitational-memory field. By subdividing a spatial region into micro-actuator cells, the setup can inscribe, erase, and reconfigure ridge profiles on demand. These engineered mass-density perturbations are read out via torsion-pendula or qudit detectors and probed by a slow particle beam, demonstrating measurable deflections under laboratory-feasible parameters. The results confirm the physical reality of gravitational-memory ridges and highlight their potential as reconfigurable spacetime optics, opening new avenues for programmable gravitational lenses and phase plates.
