The Volcano Space Observatory - FAIR-EASE poster 2025
Assessing volcanic hazards requires integrated data, yet researchers face scattered information. The Volcano Space Observatory combines satellite and ground-based observations, offering near real-time monitoring tools to allow global volcano monitoring, atmospheric hazard assessment and scientific collaboration. Coordinated by France's National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the Volcano Space Observatory is an initiative led by Dr. Marie Boichu from the Laboratoire d'Optique Atmosphérique (LOA), University of Lille.
