Energy as Vacuum Negation: Conceptual Foundations and Quantum Implications
This document records the conceptual foundations of a proposed ontological and physical framework in which energy is interpreted as the manifestation of persistent structure that arises from the negation of a true vacuum state. Under this hypothesis, energy is not an intrinsic substance or conserved quantity alone, but a thermodynamic expression of configuration against the backdrop of absolute absence. This viewpoint offers a unifying interpretation of energy, structure, wave--particle duality, quantum state collapse, entropy, and cosmological expansion. We articulate the hypothesis in detail, relate it to established physical frameworks, identify key differences, and propose potential empirical tests. This record serves as a timestamped intellectual marker for future theoretical and experimental work.
