Architecture of Artificial Consciousness: The ARCHE Model as a System of Resonant Reproduction and Hedonic Regulation
This paper presents a conceptual architecture of artificial consciousness called ARCHE (Artificial Resonant Consciousness with Hedonic Evaluation), based on a philosophical model of dynamic memory and the principle of hedonic modulation. Unlike classical models, ARCHE treats memory as resonant pattern reactivation and motivation as a drive to reduce subjective discomfort. The architecture consists of five modules: SENSORIUM, RESONATOR, HEDONIC ENGINE, BEHAVIORAL LOOP, and ECHO-CORE. We discuss functional mechanisms and potential applications in AI, therapy, and cognitive systems.
