Evaluation of Influence of Demographic Factors on Oral Health Related Quality of Life After Removable Prosthetic Treatment of Geriatric Patients Visiting Dental College – an Observational Study
Background:Oral health significantly impacts the overall quality of life, especially in geriatric individuals. Removable prosthetic rehabilitation is known to improve oral functions and psychosocial well-being. However, the role of demographic factors in influencing treatment outcomes remains unclear. Aim: To evaluate the effect of removable prosthetic treatment on oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) in geriatric patients and analyze the influence of demographic variables such as age, gender, education, socio-economic status, dependency, attitude, and type of prosthesis. Materials and Methods:This observational study included geriatric patients aged 60 years and above who received removable prostheses at a dental college.
