Paper T18: Collapse Mechanics from Coherence Selection A Structural Resolution of Measurement in Holosphere Theory
The measurement problem in quantum mechanics has long been a focal point of interpre-tational debate, invoking wavefunction collapse, observer-induced decoherence, or many-worldsbifurcation. Holosphere Theory offers a deterministic alternative: collapse emerges from struc-tural coherence selection in a discrete angular lattice. Rather than invoking intrinsic randomness, the apparent probabilistic nature of measurement arises from competition among coherence can-didates, with only those configurations structurally compatible with the lattice strain geometryreaching propagation viability. This paper formalizes collapse as a threshold-based phase res-olution, governed by angular strain, triadic spin alignment, and vacancy defect migration. Wedefine a set of criteria for coherence acceptance and explain how these rules naturally suppressincompatible branches without invoking stochasticity or external observers. The result is a local, deterministic mechanism for measurement, in which coherence locking selects a single outcomethrough phase compatibility and strain minimization.
