Elemental Layering as a Pre-Metallicity Energy Storage Mechanism in the Interstellar Medium: Toward a Galactic Battery Framework
This paper explores a theoretical model in which elemental layering—particularly involvinghydrogen and helium—functions analogously to an energy storage system in the interstellarmedium (ISM). We argue that such structures operate as ”galactic batteries,” storing and re-leasing energy through plasma stratification, ionization gradients, and recombination processes.Contrary to conventional electrochemical assumptions, this mechanism requires no heavy ele-ments and may be active in the earliest, metal-free cosmic epochs. The theory supports thebroader Unified Probabilistic Reality Framework (UPRF), integrating virtual probability fields(VPF) as the substrate for such emergent energetic structures.
