Songs of the Self: Using Stylometry to Explore the 'Pessoa-Whitman Connection'

Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa (1888 - 1935) is known for his use of alter-egos (heteronyms) when producing his works. This study applies stylometry to investigate how the heteronyms differentiate themselves, and how relations of literary influence may have permeated accross their boundaries.
