Decolonizing International Relations: African and Indigenous Contributions
This study explores the imperative of decolonizing International Relations (IR) theory by interrogating its Eurocentric foundations and advocating for the integration of African and Indigenous epistemologies. Employing a qualitative research methodology grounded in secondary sources, the study draws from a wide array of scholarly literature, philosophical traditions, and political movements to examine how IR reproduces colonial hierarchies in both theory and pedagogy.
