Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/saito2016 hash://md5/f39952c756574810d5c771c5f0253b3c

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/saito2016, has fingerprint hash://md5/f39952c756574810d5c771c5f0253b3c, is 935KiB in size and contains 3,589 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 278 primary taxa (e.g., Ochlodes venatus (Bremer et Grey, 1852)) and 1,603 associated taxa (e.g., Miscanthus sinensis Andersson). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
