2' science: A science communication project
Two-Minute Science (2'Science) is a science communication project run by early-career Greek astrophysicists and space physicists, aiming to bring science closer to the Greek-speaking public.Launched in December 2020, the project tackles a significant challenge: making science accessible, engaging, fun and trustworthy. We publish short, 2-minute articles in three difficulty levels — easy, average, difficult — so thateveryone, from students to curious adults, can explore science at their own pace. Through our“Ask an Expert” section, readers can directly pose questions to scientists, fostering a genuinedialogue between the public and the scientific community. We have created interactive experiences, such as the online escape room "Escape to OtherWorlds", and regularly participate in school talks, teen astronomy workshops, podcasts, and socialmedia outreach.By translating English-language articles and collaborating closely with researchers abroad, we open awindow to international science for Greek readers, making discoveries and ideas that were previouslyout of reach, accessible.2'Science empowers informed thinking, critical curiosity, and scientific literacy. We believethat science belongs to everyone, and we welcome new partnerships and ideas for futurecollaborations.
