ENCRYPTING AND MANAGING HTTP REQUESTS: PROTECTING AGAINST ATTACKS AND PREVENTING CYBER THREATS
In this paper, we propose a method for protecting web requests from attacks and cyber threats, which involves encryption and digital signature of headers. The main goal is to ensure the security of data transmission between the client and the server by preventing attacks such as interception, substitution, and replay of requests. The Base64 and SHA-256 algorithms were used to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data through encryption. The created method was implemented using React.js and Node.js/Express.js and is easily adapted for use in modern web applications. An important advantage of the method is its minimal impact on performance, ease of implementation, and adaptation of this technology to various use cases. The results of the study demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in reducing the risks associated with data compromise and attacks on web systems.
