Estimating Vertical Jump Height from 2D Foot Trajectory Obtained via MediaPipe Pose in a Validation Study

This appendix provides the Python 3.11 code used to extract the 2D y-coordinate of the foot from video using MediaPipe Pose, detect take-off and landing events, compute flight time, and estimate jump height based on ballistic equations. The script was used for all analyses reported in the study. Comments are included in the code to explain each step for reproducibility.
