Transforming Smile with Digital Precision
This case report discusses the treatment of a 30-year-old male patient presenting with diastema in the maxillary anterior region, which adversely affected his esthetic confidence. A digitally driven treatment plan was devised incorporating advanced modalities such as digital smile design (DSD), intraoral scanning, and computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM). After a virtual diagnostic wax-up, the proposed plan—comprising intentional endodontic therapy of maxillary central and lateral incisors (teeth 11, 12) and conservative tooth preparation—was approved by the patient.
