KH Comic: Making Arabic Easy and Fun
The Kaifa Haluka (KH) comic series was developed as an innovative educational tool to enhance Arabic vocabulary learning among students at UiTM Kelantan. This study aims to assess how KH supports vocabulary acquisition and to collect student feedback on potential improvements to the series. Additionally, the study seeks to provide practical recommendations for educators on effectively integrating comics into Arabic language instruction. The findings suggest that while KH effectively aids vocabulary retention through visual and contextual cues, it may need supplementary materials to address more advanced grammar and language structures. Feedback from students indicates that KH could be further enhanced by incorporating glossaries, interactive exercises, and culturally relevant content. Recognized for its educational value, KH has been featured in academic conferences, published in scholarly journals, and secured intellectual property registration with MYIPO, underscoring its impact as a valuable resource for Arabic language learning and student engagement.
