Accumulation of Microplastics in the Human Body: Statistical Analysis and Health Impact
Abstract: Microplastics, once considered an environmental concern limited to oceans and soil, are now recognized as a growing human health threat. These particles, originating from plastic degradation, have been detected in human food, water, air, and even blood. This article investigates the routes of microplastic entry into the human body, their physiological effects, and public awareness, supported by survey data. It aims to raise concern about lifestyle habits that facilitate microplastic accumulation and encourage action to reduce exposure
