Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (Uwsns) For Smart Water Monitoring And Disaster Prevention
Abstract: Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) are an emerging technology for monitoring and managing aquatic environments. These networks utilize distributed sensor nodes to collect and transmit underwater data, enabling real-time water quality monitoring, pollution detection, and disaster prevention. However, UWSNs face unique challenges such as high latency, energy consumption, and limited bandwidth. This paper explores how integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Blockchain can enhance UWSN performance for smart water monitoring and disaster management. We propose an optimized UWSN model that leverages AI-driven predictive analytics, energy-efficient routing algorithms, and blockchain-based security to improve data accuracy and reliability. The study highlights the potential of UWSNs in preventing water-related disasters such as floods, tsunamis, and chemical spills, offering a sustainable solution for global water resource management
