STEAM THERMOLYSIS TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT OF WASTE

On the basis of scientific researches of thermochemical conversion of organic materials and design engineering on development of equipment, as well as experimental and industrial tests of thermal processing of various types of organic wastes a new technology of steam thermolysis of wastes is created. The new technical solutions forming the basis of the technology and equipment design of steam thermolysis of waste are patented in the United States, Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain, Russia, Belarus.Unlike the known technologies of gasification and pyrolysis (vacuum pyrolysis, pyrolysis in the medium of gaseous, liquid and solid heat carriers) the technology of steam thermolysis provides the possibility of processing a wide range of wastes both by component composition and by type (sludge, waste composite materials, rubber wastes, as well as their mixtures) with obtaining the products demanded in the market. At the same time high energy efficiency of processing and reduction of emissions into the environment are achieved. As a result of the analysis of the obtained data on steam thermolysis of various types of waste, a mathematical model for engineering calculations of the processing process has been developed, which allows to determine the optimal thermolysis time, yield of solid, liquid and gaseous products, as well as energy costs of the processing process. The new technology is hardware designed in the form of lines for processing of worn tyres, oil waste and composite materials, installed in France (Dole) and the Russian Federation (Angarsk).
