Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/plazi-covid19 hash://md5/b7eed28a2e8b2611520841b0841f7e82
Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/plazi-covid19, has fingerprint hash://md5/b7eed28a2e8b2611520841b0841f7e82, is 728KiB in size and contains 790 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., hostOf) between 246 primary taxa (e.g., bat) and 282 associated taxa (e.g., Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
