From Transaction to Transformation: Navigating the Spectrum Between Prostitution of Values and Visionary Leadership
This paper combines two powerful frameworks — the Theory of Prostitution and the Visionary Paradigm — to examine how societies, institutions, and individuals either succumb to short-term gain at the cost of core values or rise beyond immediate gratification to leave a legacy of service and trust. The first part introduces the Theory of Prostitution, which exposes how short-termism destroys respect, trust, and purpose. The second part moves beyond this theory to celebrate visionaries who resist these temptations and work silently for the greater good. Together, this paper reveals the full spectrum of human motivation — from those who trade principles for momentary rewards to those who uplift the world through selfless action.
