Design and Implementation of a Bluetooth-Controlled Robotic Boat Using SajiloBot and MIT App Inventor
This document describes the development of, and how to make, a low-cost Bluetooth-controlled robotic boat based on the SajiloBot microcontroller using MIT App Inventor. Hardware used – DC and servo motors as well as the HC-05 Bluetooth module – comprise an integrated system that allows for a wireless navigation interface built on an Android- application.” Instructions for hardware assembly, software development, and user control integration are detailed. The system was experimentally found to provide good wireless connection and responsive motor control up to 10 meters away. The prototype is appropriate for educational institutions, prototyping autonomous watercraft, and teaching embedded systems.
