FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF DIURETIC ACTIVITY OF POLYHERBAL DRUG

Abstarct An attempt was made in this study to probe the diuretic exertion of an ethanolic excerpt of a polyherbal expression containing four medicines seeds of Coriandrum sativum, kids of Syzigium aromaticum, bulb of Allium sativum, and roots of Foeniculum vulgare, as well as leaves of Syzigium aromaticum. According to the findings of this disquisition, the excerpt of a polyherbal expression( including seeds of Coriandrum sativum, kids and leaves of Syzigium aromaticum & bulb of Allium sativum, and roots of Foeniculum vulgare) held substantial exertion. colorful amounts of Polyherbal phrasings( 200 and 400 mg/ kg), furosemide( 10 mg/ kg), and vehicle were given orally to rats( n = 6 creatures per group), and the urine affair was collected after 24 hours. All attention of Polyherbal expression displayed a cure-dependent relationship when compared to the control creatures in the study. According to the findings of this study, the Polyherbal phrasings have significant diuretic effect in rats when tested in the below- mentioned experimental model. That polyherbal expression excerpt has similar potent effect may be due to their capability to stimulate the excretion of Na, K, and Cl-nattention in urine while also adding the quantum of urine excreted by the body. As diuretics, medicinal sauces are a crucial source of force. When it comes to diuretics, both mono- and poly- herbal phrasings have been employed successfully.
