Quantum Computing with Bipolar Charge States: A Theoretical Framework Based on the Solid State Atom Model
This paper introduces a novel theoretical framework for quantum computing, grounded in the principles of the Solid State Atom (SSA) model. It proposes leveraging the SSA's fundamental concept of bipolar charge states, specifically the bound positive (e+) and negative (e−) electron pair, to represent and manipulate quantum bits (qubits). The framework further expands on this by identifying a natural ternary (three-state) system inherent in AC voltage generation within the SSA model (positive, zero, and negative voltage), suggesting the potential for qutrits and new interpretations of digital bits. Magnetic fields are posited as the primary mechanism for qubit control and readout. This approach offers a physically intuitive foundation for quantum computation, providing a local and realistic interpretation of superposition and entanglement as inherent properties of matter. While significant theoretical and technological challenges remain, this work presents a unique and potentially more robust pathway toward realizing quantum computation based on the fundamental structure of the SSA model.
