"Neutron Star Equation of State: A Magnetic Information Density Framework"
This paper introduces a paradigm-shifting equation of state (EoS) for neutron stars based on Magnetic Information Density (MID), reframing stellar stability and collapse as functions of electromagnetic coherence rather than degeneracy pressure or gravitational thresholds alone. At the heart of the model is a critical magnetic coherence boundary—B_crit—which defines the point at which internal magnetic formatting fails, triggering structural collapse. Departing from traditional thermodynamic and relativistic models, this framework treats neutron stars as dynamic information systems, where magnetic pressure, field coherence, and the Wilcox Field Tensor (W_μν) govern phase stability and matter-state transitions. The paper outlines a new phase diagram defined by MID zones, explains collapse phenomena such as magnetar anomalies and white dwarf persistence, and proposes predictive criteria for electromagnetic shutdown events. By integrating electromagnetic field dynamics with information theory, this model offers a compelling bridge between high-energy astrophysics and quantum gravity. The Wilcox EoS lays foundational groundwork for a new astrophysical language—where stellar death is no longer the exhaustion of fuel, but the failure of informational coherence.
