Berinda orgeli sp. nov. Figs 13–16 Type material. Holotype ♂ (KUAM), TURKEY: Hatay Province, Hassa Dist., Küreci Neighborhood, (36°42'32"N 36°27'03"E), 563 m a.s.l., 22.08.2017 – 31.07.2018, Pitfall traps, leg. E. A. Yağmur & S. Örgel. Paratypes 2♀ (KUAM), same data as holotype. Etymology. The new species is dedicated to the entomologist Dr. Semih Örgel, who made great contributions to our knowledge of Turkish staphylinids, is a friend of the authors, and assisted in the field trips during which the new species was collected. Diagnosis. The male of the new species is similar to that of B. aegilia Chatzaki, 2002, but differs from it by the smaller and less protruding posterior end of the conductor (vs. straight and protruding in B. aegilia) and the small hook-shaped retrolateral tibial apophysis (vs. long, finger-shaped in B. aegilia) (compare Fig. 14 with Chatzaki et al. 2002 b: figs 9, 10). The epigyne of B. orgeli sp. nov. differs from that of B. aegilia by the shape of the epigynal hood (globular vs. trapezoidal in B. aegilia) (compare Fig 16 with Chatzaki et al. 2002 b: figs 11, 12). Description (Holotype, Male). Measurements: TL: 5.2, PL: 2.3, PW: 1.6, OL: 2.9, OW: 1.5, Eye sizes and inter-distances: AME 0.1, ALE 0.1, PME 0.1125, PLE 0.0875, AME–AME 0.0375, AME–ALE 0.025, AME–PME 0.075, PME–PME 0.025, PME–PLE 0.05, PLE–ALE 0.0375. Carapace reddish brown with distinct fovea (Fig. 13A), abdomen with triangular small scutum, oval, covered with pubescence giving it yellowish gray. Patellae of legs yellowish brown, other segments brown. Chelicerae, sternum, labium and maxillae brown (Fig. 13). Cheliceral promargin with 4, retromargin with 2 teeth. Eyes in two rows, anterior row slightly recurved, posterior row procurved with posterior median eyes oblique (Fig. 13A). Palpal patella without apophysis. Embolus long, filiform, originates at about 10:00 o’clock and terminates at about 3:00 (Fig. 14A–D, 15). Conductor with membranous anterior bladder (a) oval in prolateral view (Fig.14A), sickle-shaped guiding structure (b) beginning at the 9:00 o’clock position on the prolateral side of the palp and extending in a wide C-shape, ending at the 3:00 o’clock position with posterior transverse, relatively short, sclerotized pointed tip (c) (Fig. 14C, D and 15B).
