DEVELOPMENT OF 21ST CENTURY SKILLS IN BASIC EDUCATION
The research investigates the development of 21st century skills in basic education, highlighting the need to prepare students for the challenges of a changing world. It explores how these skills are integrated into the school curriculum and developed effectively, addressing the gap between theory and practice, in addition to the absence of adequate assessment methodologies. Using the giftedean neoperspectivist paradigm, hypothetical-deductive method and Narrative Bibliographic and Documentary Review, the research identifies the importance of curricular integration and artificial intelligence in the development of these skills. The main contributions include practical insights for educators and a solid theoretical basis for future research.
