Implementing Evidence Based Navigation Systems in Medical Buildings

Abstract The stress and urgency of hospital visits call for the need for universal, easily understandable navigation systems. In this work-inprogress paper we introduce a complex methodology focused on inclusive design, iterative testing and utilization of modern technologies providing objective data, all in the highly specific context of medical buildings (research through design). We aim to create efficient and universal manual for the design of navigation systems and complementary adjustable virtual testing environment.
